Detroit Open Kendo Tournament 11/03/2010
The 12th Annual Detroit Open Kendo Tournament will be held on February 13th - 14th, 2010 in Birmingham, Michigan. The tournament will be hosted by the Detroit Kendo Dojo. This year the distinguished tournament guests are Toru Kamei sensei Kendo Hanshi 8 Dan, Master Instructor of the Kumamoto Police Department and Shinji Funatsu sensei Kendo Kyoshi 8 Dan, Master Instructor of the Osaka Police Department. Both guests will be conducting an AUSKF Kendo Education Tour. The enclosed packet includes tournament information and scheduling, as well as the required entry/waiver form. Please complete your entry/waiver form and submit electronically per instructions. Additionally, you must print out the completed form, sign, and mail with your tournament fees to the given address. The Georgia Kendo Association will be hosting Shoji Teramoto Sensei, who is the 2007 All Japan Kendo Champion and 2009 World Champion. This seminar will be on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 10:00am to 3:00pm The seminar fee is $30 and lunch is $10. Hi Guys yesterday's Joint practice with Shin sou Fu Kan (Tulsa Kendo Club) and Sen Shin Kan (Oklahoma city dojo) was a great success. thank you every one who came for attending. we had a great time! As of June 1st 2010 Sen Shin Kan Dojo Will no longer offer Classes in Tae Kwon Do. Great job for everyone who turned out for the Ito cup team tournament! the competition consisted of 15 teams that came from 8 different states. a total of 93 different competitors.
