Congradulations to everyone who pasted the promotional exam!! Thank you all for attending the SWIKF seminar and Shinsa we had a blast! The seminar was a huge success!

Fall 2008 SWIKF Seminar and Shinsa

The dates for the SWKIF Fall Kendo Seminar are set for October 24-26 in Oklahoma City. The Registration Packet is now available. Registration is due Tuesday, October 14th to Shaw Furukawa (see packet for details).

The seminar and shinsa will be held at the University of Central Oklahoma.  The address is:
100 N. University Drive, Edmond, OK, 73034. 

The event will be held in the Wantland Hall Gymnasium.  Please find the enclosed map. You may contact the school for more information if needed at 405-974-2000.

Congradulations 09/09/2008
 

Congratulations  to Aaron Yen and Shaw Furukawa.  two weeks ago  they attended a kendo camp and were both awarded iikyu.

Aaron also proceeded to take first place in the mudansha division!!

Thanks to Michael Lindsay and his crew from Shin Sou Fu Kan The first Annual goodwill Tulsa Taikai was a great success.  We cannot wait for the next tournament!

This Past weekend Michael Lindsay from Tulsa's Shin Sou Fu Kan kendo club Organized a great Demonstration at the comic book convention in Tulsa. 
Great job spreading the knowlege of kendo to the people!

Mosley Sensei and Michael gave Lord Vader and his troops some pointers on their shiai waza.

Tulsa Taikai 07/15/2008
 

The Tulsa goodwill Taikai date has been set.  it will be in August 16, 2008.  So far we have rsvp's from Arkansas and St. Louis.
